HARMONY-2019 a competitive festival with multiple stages to reach the finals was organised by The Global Education & Leadership Foundation (TGELF) to provide growth
opportunities to the Youth of today, along with providing them a platform to discover themselves through community engagement competitions.
.
The competition saw participation of two brilliant teams from our school in the segments “Youth Leader “ and Reel to Real” competitions.
Mr. Ishu Maurya and Ms. Aishwarya Srivastava of Grade XI under the supervision of Ms. Nandita Singh, Activity-in-Charge presented a well researched project titled- HEALTH TRACKING WEBSITE based on SDG17- “Good Health and Well Being” and after a stiff competition from the participants across India reached till the third Stage 3. While they shared their ideas of Good Health and Well Being, they also brought back loads of learning to our school.
They may not have been the Winners in the competition, but they are WINNERS in the way they have been able to put forward their unique idea.
Similarly, the team members Mr. Agyey Kashyap and Mr. Kushal Gupta of Grade XII along with Ms. Ark Singh of Grade XI formed the team for “Reel to Real” competition. The team created a wonderful short AV-“The City of Varanasi- Then and Now” under the supervision of Mr. Neshat Ahmed. Working hard on their AV these children passionate in film making circumvented the City of Varanasi, interviewed dozens of entrepreneurs, home makers and those to whom the city was their lifeline.
TEGELF thus in recognition of their effort presented them Certificate of Participation, which to our students matters the most.
