Republic Day Celebration @ BGN
"Converse with our God/ or our conscience in peace/standing or sitting/or down on our knees/Sing softly to the One/offer prayers and incense. They all will prefer that: Allah, Jesus and Ram".'One Nation, One Heart' was the offshoot of the collective conscious of Sunbeam Bhagwanpur in the 71st Republic Day Celebrations. That no religion endorses animosity, rather diversity, being an invisible bond, enriches one another to identify with the Nation was the predominant tenet of the day with the robust Sunbeams mirroring the same onstage. In consonance with 'Back to the Roots with Pride', the cornerstone of the Sunbeam Calender, 2020 let us restore peace as a cohesive unit in a land of myriad faiths and cultures embracing tolerance and multiplicity this Republic Day.
The day began with the unfurling of national tricolor by Asst. Director Ms. Pratima Gupta, followed by Guard of Honour and reading of the Preamble. The Head Girl School Arya Shukla and College Vice Head Girl shared their visions of One Nation One Heart!
Pratima Ma'am in her speech shared her concern of how our history is becoming an impediment to our progress and the urgent need to break our shackles of complacency to foster, unity, harmony and synthesis. Principal Sunbeam Bhagwanpur Ms. Gurmeet Kaur extended the vote of thanks.
