Dasvidaniya- Memories for life! -Farewell @ Sunbeam Suncity

‘Dasvidaniya – Memories for Life’ the farewell for batch 2019-20 was held in Resonance at Sunbeam Suncity. The welcoming of the Chief Guests, Chairman- Dr. Deepak Madhok & Director-Mrs. Bharti Madhok along with other Board members signaled the commencement of the program. As soon as the guests took seat, the curtain opened for the entire army of class XII to walk down and take their place in the audience. Each one radiated the confidence gathered over the years.
The welcome address followed by the prayer set the tone for the program. Thereafter, ‘Suncity Swag’ a dance presentation sucked in the outgoing batch in the mood of celebration. The anxious battery of students were delighted when the anchors announced the first set of felicitations, among them the notable ones were C. V. Raman Award, Ramanujan Award, Nani Palkhivala Award, Narayan Murthy Award etc, to name a few. Class reports by all seven class teachers gave an opportunity to everyone to peep into their world and the added visuals brought out the best of them to the fore.
Soon after, Mrs. Gupta in her quintessential erudition blessed the students for their future, Principal-Mrs. Archana Singh reminded them of their responsibility towards themselves first which if met on time, will pave the way for a sound future ahead and Vice Principal-Mrs. Sarita Rao asked the kids to stay connected with their alma mater and keep coming back to guide and motivate their juniors. The ‘Dance Anthem’ choreography had a mix of foot tapping numbers which enthralled the outgoing batch to no end.
Many awards for sports, oration, wit and humour, dedication, writing skills etc. were given, which not only gave students their moments of pride but also enhanced their morale. ‘Memories-Frozen for life’ showed the candid moments of class XII students.
The Chairman and the Director Dr. Deepak Madhok and Mrs. Bharti Madhok gave away the most sought after awards, Icons of Inspiration (Male & Female) and Ace Sunbeam Awards. Thereafter, the Head Boy and Head Girl – Eshitva Prakash & Medhavi Dhawan relinquished their offices and passed the baton to the Vice Heads and gave their farewell speeches. The last choreography and the Rock Rand performance by Suncity’s official, Rock Band – Phoenix enthralled the audience.
Address by the Chairman and Director Dr. Deepak Madhok and Mrs. Bharti Madhok in which they appreciated the efforts of the outgoing batch and their contribution towards the school, closed the program. Vote of thanks was given by Principal, Mrs. Archana Singh.
