Reinforcement Classes
Students securing 50% and below are put in remedial classes. Students securing between 50% and 75% are put in improvement classes. These classes are organised in the Middle, Senior and Senior Secondary levels for those children who require extra coaching. Intensive and exam-oriented coaching is offered to ensure enhanced performance.

Enrichment Classes
Enrichment classes are an extremely important aspect of the Academic Curriculum of the hostel and aim at providing guidance and support to the boarder for excelling his/her performance. Regularity and punctuality is the cardinal rule of this facility. The Academic Coordinator, on recommendations of the concerned warden, shall sanction leave of absence, if required.
If a boarder desires Extra Coaching in any subject, it shall be provided after a discussion with the Academic Coordinator subject to the consent of the boarder's parents.
Tests will be conducted from time to time in the Enrichment Classes; it is compulsory that all boarders appear in these tests as well as the mock exams before Half Yearly and Annual Examinations.

Students’ resource Centre
The hostel has the students’ recourse centre which possesses i-core and advanced configuration PCs with 24 hrs dedicated lease line connection to help students complete the assignments and update themselves with the latest developments.

Continuous assessment for boarders
In our effort to instill the three mottos of Sunbeam - Duty, Devotion and Discipline among the boarders, we propose to introduce the Continuous Assessment of Boarders (CAB) marking system. These marks are noted in the student's behavior diary and students are awarded accordingly with certificates of appreciation.
It is highly advisable that students familiarize themselves with this material.
